Aarin Rakesh

Hey everyone!! I’m Aarin, a first-year Mech Eng student. You’ve probably seen me around at practice a few times. I actually started playing baseball for the first time here at Imperial this year, and that showed me how easy it is for anyone to get into the sport and really enjoy it.

I’m running for Secretary because I want to make our society even more welcoming and accessible for everyone, whether you’ve played for years or never picked up a glove before. If I’m elected, I’ll keep things running smoothly behind the scenes: clear communication, organised scheduling, and making sure players, committee, and events all stay well coordinated.

I’d love to work with all of you to keep trainings fun, smooth, and productive. Let's make Imperial come back even stronger in our next BUCS run. More than anything, I want the society to be a place where you can unwind, play some ball, and meet people who might end up being some of your closest friends from your time at Imperial.
