Hi, I am Justin, and I am running for PA Vice President of ICPASS 2026/2027.
This year, as a fresher, I participated in most ICPASS events and gained a lot from the community—new friends, new perspectives, and genuinely memorable experiences. Next year, I want to help deliver the same sense of belonging and value to incoming members, while taking our outreach and events to the next level.
As a PA subcommittee member, I have participated at a wide range of internal and external events, including LSE Forum, Cambridge IUQ, UCL Amazing Race, QM Flagship, Imperialogy, and subcommittee socials. Through these, I have built strong connections with students both within Imperial and across other universities—relationships we can turn into meaningful collaborations.
I also served as a helper at Famine 24, which gave me hands-on experience with event operations and what it takes to host smoothly. In parallel, creating PA posts has trained my ability to design clear, engaging Instagram content—and, more importantly, to think strategically about building public awareness.
Several of us from the subcommittee are running for different roles, and together our goals are to:
- Increase community engagement through stronger, more consistent social media promotion
- Strengthen collaboration with other societies and universities via more joint events
- Enhance career support for freshers, especially through clearer signposting of opportunities and peer guidance
