Hello, my name is Christopher Wong, and I'm running to be your next Secretary!

My involvement in various organisations such as HKMSSU and ICPASS have helped me build a wide network of contacts, which I can leverage for AMSA England’s benefit. I am approachable and a good listener - I can respond quickly to your queries and work collaboratively with the committee members.

As Secretary, I will focus on making AMSA England’s internal operations more reliable, efficient, and transparent.

Firstly, I will make sure there is clear and effective communication. I will record accurate minutes of all committee meetings and distribute them to the team within a day to keep everyone aligned. I will release summarized meeting minutes in newsletters, allow you to make executive decisions with us through monthly polling, and have the quickest reply time to emails in the game so you can get things sorted.

What events do I want to plan? Eg. revision sessions for your medical school, internship programmes that help you find actual research opportunities early on so you don't have to send mass emails, our own medicine IUQ trivia quiz competition, and more dinners and games nights across your uni journey.

If elected, I will ensure that AMSA England operates smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes. I will work hard to improve our communication channels, coordinate the committee, and support the President in achieving greater success.
