Hey everyone! I'm Sophie, I am the current treasurer of KnitSock and am running again! If you are in the KnitSock whatsapp group then you would probably recognise my name😊

If you haven't met me before in a session yet, hello! I started crocheting summer 2024 and joined KnitSock in my first year. My favourite things to crochet are amigurumi as you end up with a really cute project at the end :) I've included a picture in my profile photo.

I think crochet is an amazing hobby and everyone should come give it a go. I have helped to organise the give it a go sessions (GIAG) this year to try increase the number of people exposed to this hobby! 🧶

I've really enjoyed my time as treasurer and would love to stay in this position next year too! It has been really fun meeting new people this year and teaching you guys how to crochet. I have made sure we've had enough yarn for each of the monthly projects and that you guys have your member's yarn order during the academic year. I've applied for a grant to help the society grow and also made sure we have enough equipment to lend out!
