Polina Ivanushkina

Hi everyone,

I’m Polina, a first-year Economics, Finance and Data Science student, and I’m excited to be running for Corporate Functions, Analytics & Strategy (Secretary).

Over the past year, I’ve really enjoyed being part of the society and attending some amazing events and projects, including being a member of the Autumn Term Qualitas Imperial College Consulting Group Project, working directly with other students to gain hands-on experience in solving business challenges.

I also worked at IBM Consulting during my Gap Year, supporting many commercial bids and expansion projects, developing skills necessary in the workplace, including organisation, attention to detail, and clear communication.

This year I would like to contribute further to the society, supporting these experiences for others. If elected, I would focus on three things:
• Develop our use of data and feedback to guide decision-making and ensure our initiatives deliver real value to members.
• Strengthen internal structure and continuity to support smoother transitions and long-term growth.
• Support the society’s strategic direction by aligning activities with clear goals and measurable impact to develop even better events for our members.

I’m detail-oriented, comfortable working with data and people and I’d love your support in being a part of the success of the society this year!
