Tennis (ICSM): Social Secretary

Hi everyone, my name is Ines, I am a first-year medical student, and I’ll be running for social secretary! ICSM tennis has been one of my favorite parts of uni so far, though my tennis skills may not have greatly improved, my ability to down a pint has significantly :)

Bring back the weekly newsletter
Run Christmas drunk tennis - a better and more planned version of just bringing mulled wine to St Columbas.
Increase the number of people attending socials by making them more inclusive - planning a greater variety of sports nights and more chill ones for those with 9 ams, as well as getting more ladies to sports night
Plan the general social calendar in advance, so you have no excuses

Now, if you’re questioning why you should vote for me, here are some things I have done that make me qualified. I am currently the hall chair of Falmouth and Keogh, and I spent 2 years as a student council member in high school, so I have lots of experience planning, coordinating, and running events. I’m a member of the Peds Society play team (you would be surprised how many of those skills are transferable to drunk ppl). Lastly, if you have seen me on the tennis courts, you would know the time I spend talking exceeds the time I spend running, so rest assured, I am qualified in the social aspect.
