Hey everyone! I’m Naomi Abiola-Peller and I’m running for Vice President Sponsorship.
Sponsorship isn’t just about funding, it’s about creating opportunities. As a 2nd year student who has navigated the intensity of application season, from spring weeks to securing a corporate finance internship, I know how overwhelming it can feel. I’ve seen what works and where ACS can do more.
I’m running to transform this role into Sponsorship & Careers, ensuring every partnership we secure delivers value to our members.
My Vision:
- Head Start: I will run spring week workshops in early Autumn. My aim is to make sure you feel prepared before academic pressure hits.
- True Representation: ACS represents the brightest minds in Medicine, Engineering and Science. I will diversify our sponsors so that every member can access opportunities that align with their aspirations.
- Alumni Network: I will leverage my network to connect with Imperial ACS alumni in top firms to help strengthen sponsorship proposals and potential mentoring schemes.
My Action Plan:
- Curate an ACS career handbook featuring CV templates, HireVue tips and application timelines.
- Partner with Black-owned businesses, from food to wellness, to enhance creativity and make social events accessible.
- Collaborate with other London ACS’ and career-focused societies to expand our reach.
I will bring the negotiation skills, professional drive and approachable leadership needed to turn ACS into a powerhouse.
