Akshaya Muthirulandi

Hi! I am Akshaya Muthirulandi, and I am running to be your next President of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society. As the current Treasurer, I have gained extensive experience working within the committee and supporting the society, and I am excited about the opportunity to continue contributing in a leadership role.

As President, I hope to:

• Support the Conference Co-Chairs in organising a large and engaging ICOGS conference

• Foster collaboration with other societies to expand opportunities for our members

• Run academic workshops to provide practical skills and enhance learning

• Encourage younger students to get involved in obstetrics and gynaecology

• Ensure smooth society operations and provide guidance to committee members wherever needed

With my enthusiasm, dedication, and hands-on experience within the society, I am eager to take on this role and contribute to its continued success. It would be an honour to serve as your President and help make the upcoming year both inspiring and productive for all of us.
