Andrei Domocos
Bio Engineering: Webmaster
Hi all,
I’m Andrei and my goal to raise awareness of and improve the utility of the Bioengineering website. With previous experience creating and working with websites, I believe I can make the current Bioengineering website a widely used resource for both fresher and more senior students alike. I’ll make our website a reliable hub for the society and the students within the Bioengineering course — not a dead link. That means:
- Refreshing the look and feel, and improving usability — clearer navigation, cleaner pages, and quicker access to key info.
- Ensure members stay aware of updates to the Bioengineering website by sharing new posts and changes via Outlook and the Bioengineering Society WhatsApp group – I want to make sure people know that it is being constantly worked upon and updated.
- Implement web pages with strategic, concise guides for each Bioengineering course module for freshers and older students alike — I have an extensive network of people who make great study resources, and I’ll get them involved in writing these guides.
- Implement a blog that allows members to share their thoughts on what’s going on in the Bioengineering Society and helps bring the community closer together.
- Collaborate with other Bioengineering-related societies (e.g., the Synthetic Biology Society and Computational Biology Society) to cross-promote upcoming events and keep members informed.
If this sounds good to you, I’d be grateful for your support and your vote. Thanks for reading.
