Hello there~ I’m a third-year Computing student. This year I worked on the tech team for ICHack, our department’s hackathon and the largest student hackathon in the UK, helping create the systems behind the event.

Tech team was amazing! Outside of that, I spend a lot of time building infrastructure that goes to production, usually for startups, and I enjoy thinking about how things fit together: clean architectures, sensible tooling, and codebases that other people can easily understand and extend.

As Webmaster, I’d bring that mindset to the society’s technical side more broadly. DoCSoc runs a lot of things behind the scenes: tools that support events and the wider department. I’d focus on keeping those systems dependable, maintainable, and pleasant for future committees to work with.
