Hi everyone, I'm Tracy and I'm running for publicity and marketing officer.

Biochemistry Society connects people through events and opportunities, but they aren't always given the visibility they deserve. I know how easy it is to scroll past and miss these events and opportunities. So, I would like to change this by making the social media accounts something people actually stop for - more eye-catching and engaging rather than just informative - in hope of increasing involvement in Biochemistry Society as a whole.

Whether it's through tutoring, academic writing or volunteering, I enjoy communicating and presenting ideas clearly, and I would apply this in promoting Biochemistry Society. Publicity isn't just about posting dates and times; it's about showing why an event is worth attending. Thus, my goal is to make the Instagram account more active and visually appealing. If elected, I hope to also make content more dynamic by posting content of different media and improve the community aspect, by encouraging more interaction between first and upper year students.
