Cześć! I’m Nikodem Brol, an Economics, Finance and Data Science student, and I’m running to be your next Secretary.

Let’s be honest: our society has been ghosting its members. We have an incredible community of Poles at Imperial, but without a central system, we’re just a list of names. As Secretary, I want to be the organizing force that brings us back to life.

My Plan:

• Lively newsletter: I will guarantee a bi-weekly newsletter that actually matters—covering upcoming socials, career opportunities in the UK and Poland, and highlights of Polish culture.
• Streamlined system: I’ll take charge in organising room bookings and Union paperwork. By being proactive with the ICU, I’ll ensure our events move from ideas to reality.
• A Real Community Hub: I will act as the primary bridge between the committee and you. I’ll set up a transparent feedback system, so our events reflect what Polsoc actually wants.
• The London Connection: I will re-establish ties with other Polish Societies nearby (LSE, UCL, Oxford). By co-organizing inter-university mixers and panels, I’ll ensure Imperial isn't just active internally, but is a leading society in the wider London Polish student network.
