Hi future lawyers and law enthusiasts!!

I hope I've had the pleasure to talk to you before but if that hasn't been the case, my name's Abi and I am your current External Relations Officer! I would love to continue advocating for your opportunities to explore law as an interest and as a future career, so I'd love to summarise what I have done so far as External Relations Officer and what I'd like to introduce next year for your vote of confidence:

This year:

• Connecting (and lots of yapping) with you at society events
• Expanding our society presence by talking with legal professionals from firms such as Mathys & Squire who want to support and advise you
• Organising our upcoming Neurotech x Law Policy and IP workshop and competition this May - check the instagram for sign ups!!

Next year:

• More personal connections and tailored advice from committee members, especially for those still exploring their interest in Law
• Mentorship programme to connect keen law soc members with legal alumni and experts for one-to-one advice
• A stronger LinkedIn presence, leading to even more career-focused event advertisement
• More socials -> more opportunities to chat and connect with likeminded people and share ideas
• Formal and social inter-uni society events
