This is my third year running as treasurer of the Space Society. Now in my final year, I've been a member of the Space society since starting at Imperial, focusing on the rocket engine projects.
I have overlooked the development of several groundbreaking projects during my time on committee. In particular, I was a part of the founding of Somnium and the beginning of smaller engine projects which are part of the Kepler/Tycho engine project.
We are now in the process of developing Tycho and 'Little Tych' - a nitrous optimised engine designed for the test stand at Silwood campus. The chair and I are putting together an appropriate budget which will account for these projects and allow for them to meet their expectations. By re-electing me for next year, I can gurantee that all the committee finances will be done in a streamlined manner which will benefit all projects alike given my extensive experience as treasurer.
I can't wait to see what the society gets up to next year!
