Why vote for us?

We are organised, realistic, and willing to put the work in. We are properly stuck into IC hockey, we are both going on tour and are regulars at an embargo boogie and we’re running because we genuinely want to help the club and get involved.

We want strong team integration, full turnouts and freshers who stay.

Our Plan

Prioritising fresher recruitment

· A freshers’ tour that actually happens:

We’re committed to bringing back this now historic tradition. By organising it early, we will boost attendance and give freshers a reason to fully commit.

· Freshers social after trails:

Before the full club social begins, we’ll host a dedicated fresher's taster social where freshers can meet each other through pub, drinks, food, games.

Whole club integration

· More club socials:

Ideas include:

- Oktoberfest social – kick of the season with beer tasting

- ‘Hockathon’ - Mixed 7-a-side tournament day

- Ou est le poulet? – pub crawl with a twist

Most importantly, we’ll make sure whole club socials are well organised, clearly communicated and design it so teams are encouraged to mix properly.

We also want to make sure there is time for team pre-drinks and fines before club socials and avoid fines during socials.

If you’ve got good ideas, we’ll organise them. If something isn’t working, we’ll adapt. We strive to make sure everyone wants to show up.
