Even though I am going for social sec this year, if I were publicity officer I promise to make the debate instagram so fire. I was in charge of my leavers trip instagram and ended up with 2k followers due to the entertaining and funny posts/stories, so I know I would be well suited to this job! Also i'm at every comp so the insta stories at comps will be amazing and everyone will know what we are up to. I want to use the instagram to encourage more women to join the society too as they see how inclusive and fun it is. I have many ideas for new and amusing posts/videos that I cant wait to share....

ideas:

- videos such as day in the life of an imperial debater using debate hyperbole and phrases for a funny bit.

- shoutout stories/posts for outstanding performances at comps - e.g. breaking, good speaks

- profiles for introducing the oxbridge/euros teams with funny bios and photos

- introducing the committee video - im thinking a song/funny bit

- insta stories after socials to show how we have fun as well as debate
