Hi, I’m Shyanne, and I’m running for Secretary of Singapore Society.

Over the past year, SingSoc has genuinely felt like a second home to me. It’s been a place of familiarity, support, and connection, especially being away from Singapore. Because of that, I want to contribute in a meaningful way and give back to a community that has given me so much.

I’m running for Secretary because I believe strong organisation and clear communication are what keep the society functioning smoothly behind the scenes. I am detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable handling administrative responsibilities. I value efficiency and clarity, and I work well coordinating across different people to ensure everything stays on track.

If elected, I will:

• Keep documentation organised and accessible
• Ensure clear communication within Exco
• Support event planning through reliable logistical coordination
• Maintain systems that make transitions smooth for future committees

I am committed to being dependable, proactive, and fully supportive of the team.
