Korhan Karadere
Dear friends, hope you are all doing well. If we haven't met before, I'm Korhan, 2nd-year Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate from Istanbul. Since coming to Imperial, Turkish Society has been the place to chill, have fun, and feel at home in London. It’s been almost two years now, and I’ve made unforgettable memories with so many amazing people. Having a society like this is honestly a privilege, and I want us to keep the tradition and the community going next year. Having really enjoyed the amazing events our society has put together this year, I am excited about the opportunity to be a part of the Turkish Society next year and hope to serve as the Secretary of the committee.
With the Turkish student community growing not only at Imperial but across London, I want to take an active role in uniting this network and making our society even stronger. From our unforgettable Sess nights at Metric and much-loved traditional Raki Gecesi, I want to create even more chances to come together. I aim to create the best and enjoyable experiences for us via collabrations with other cultural societies at Imperial and Turkish societies in other London universities. Looking forward to an exciting year ahead full of events and socials, and I hope to have your support.
