Hiya everyone!

My name is Aadil - I’m a second year maths student running to be your Secretary next year. I joined the club during my first week at Imperial, and it’s turned out to be the best decision I’ve made since getting to uni. With so many people graduating this year, I want to do my bit for Tennis by joining the committee and ensuring that we remain the best club in ICSM!

If elected, I would aim to build on the great work of this year’s committee by ensuring clear and timely communication of any upcoming events with all sections of the society, across multiple platforms, as well as organising a strong presence at next year’s society fair to continue growing the club we all love. My main goal would be to revitalise our Instagram account - more montages, more reels, and of course more sh*tposting - a bigger online footprint to show off our collective greatness. The experience I gained from maintaining an active social media presence until the age of 16 taught me all the things not to do, and it is with those lessons in mind that I look to rebuild the club’s digital presence.

ICSM Tennis is an amazing club with amazing people. If elected, I’ll do my bit to help newer members settle in next year, and also promise to improve my attendance record at socials (and trainings…)

Next year is gonna be a blast, and I can’t wait. Just don’t hit it to my backhand.
