Hey, I'm Maddie! Secretary’s a role that suits both my experience and my involvement over the past 2 years in Dance Company. As a Tap Director, I have insight into how auditions, weekly classes, rehearsals, and the society as a whole operate. I’d love to use this experience to support the committee, run events, and assist with competitions wherever needed.

I’ve previously been Secretary and Events & Publicity Officer in an academic society, so I’m organised, reliable, and confident with admin, communication, and event planning - including running stalls at Freshers’ Fair.

I’m especially passionate about making the society more inclusive and rewarding for its members. I’d love to re-introduce awards at our end-of-year dinner to celebrate everyone - including Fresher of the Year, Most Improved, Hardest Working, and more light-hearted awards like one for the person who’s always late etc.

Overall, I want to help the society run smoothly while ensuring members feel recognised, included, and excited to be part of our community. <3
