Daniel Howard

Hey! I'm Daniel, a second year Computing student, and would love to be your Communications Officer! You may have seen me around labs as a first year UTA (where some may know me as Mr Monad).

Being an organiser at IC Hack 26 gave me a real glimpse into how DoCSoc runs behind the scenes. On the logistics team, we managed the massive deliveries of both our own and sponsors' merch to make sure all of you came away with as much swag as possible! This means I've seen the DoCSoc experience from both sides, as an attendee and as an organiser, and understand how it feels from both perspectives.

As your Communications Officer, my goal is simple: make sure you never miss an event. I will do this by continuing the great work that has been done with the Weekly Digests this year, improving them with challenges and puzzles for prizes! On top of that, expect posters around labs and timely reminders so you always know when tickets drop.
