Name: Kerem Teker
Year & Course: 2nd Year EIE
Role: EESoc Secretary
Why Me (Less ChatGPT-ey part for people who won’t read the rest)
The Secretary is the person who makes sure everything actually runs: meetings happen, information gets shared properly, and things that are agreed upon don’t quietly disappear into the void afterwards.
Having already been part of the committee this year, I understand how EESoc operates behind the scenes and how important good organisation and communication are for keeping things running smoothly.
Key Priorities
• Clear and organised communication within the committee
• Well-structured meeting notes so decisions and action points are easy to follow up on
• Better visibility of what the committee is working on throughout the year
• Supporting the rest of the committee so events, projects, and initiatives run efficiently
Vision
EESoc works best when the committee operates as a coordinated team. My goal as Secretary would be to ensure that communication remains clear, decisions are documented properly, and everyone has the information they need to do their roles effectively.
