Hello, I’m Kellene! :-)

Being part of Crew this year, alongside attending Funkology’s classes and socials, has made me genuinely love this society. Joining Crew without experience in a dance team could have been intimidating, but instead I found a space that was welcoming, encouraging, and full of people who truly uplift one another. That experience is what motivates me to give back by running for Secretary.

I want to help cultivate that same supportive energy across all of Funkology, in our classes, our socials, and beyond. Every dancer, regardless of experience or style, should feel comfortable, included, and able to find others they can truly vibe with.

As Secretary, I’ll work to ensure our classes cater to a range of styles and abilities, so everyone, from beginners to experienced dancers, feels challenged, inspired, and most importantly, has fun. I’ll also make sure communication is clear and consistent, so members always feel informed and involved.

Funkology feels more than just dance, it’s community, and I would love the opportunity to help strengthen and support it from behind the scenes!
