Hi, I’m Kevin, and I’m running to be your next Treasurer for Photosoc.

Photography has always been more than just a hobby for me - it’s a way of telling stories, capturing moments, and building community. Photosoc brings together people with different styles, skills, and perspectives, and I would love to support that creativity from a financial standpoint.

As Treasurer, my priority would be to ensure that our budget works for all members. That means maintaining transparency, keeping clear and accessible records, and making sure funds are allocated efficiently to maximise value. Whether it’s subsidising workshops, supporting equipment purchases, organising trips, or funding exhibitions, I want every pound to contribute meaningfully to members’ experience.

I am organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers. I understand that strong financial management is the backbone of a society’s success - it allows us to plan confidently, grow sustainably, and invest in ambitious events without unnecessary risk.

Most importantly, I care about this society. I want Photosoc to remain welcoming, creative, and accessible to everyone, regardless of experience level. By managing our finances responsibly and proactively, I hope to help create more opportunities for collaboration, learning, and artistic exploration.
