Derin Seymen

Hi everyone, I’m Derin, a first-year EFDS student. From my very first day at Imperial, Turkish Society welcomed us with the warmth and sincerity that truly represent our culture. Feeling the sense of belonging in this community made me want to give back and contribute to it. Next year, as Treasurer, I would love to help organise even better events that bring our strong community even closer.

As Treasurer, I want to support and grow this beautiful community that holds a special place in my heart. With strategic and careful planning, I believe we can organise more events that reflect the unity and energy of Turkish people. I also have experience finding sponsors and budgeting for events, which I believe will be valuable. While studying at such a rigorous school, we all deserve moments to have fun, connect with each other, and enjoy the rewards of our hard work.
