Hi, I’m Ela, a first-year MBE student, and I’m running to be your next Treasurer.
After summer jobs that required endless hours behind a computer, I’ve become very comfortable working with Excel, managing large datasets, and keeping finances organised and accurate. Spreadsheets don’t scare me — they excite me (yes, really).
As someone who budgets carefully with my own money and never misses a student discount opportunity, I promise to treat the society’s funds with the same care and responsibility. Every pound should work for you.
My friends would describe me as responsible, organised, and approachable. I genuinely value open communication, so I’d always be happy to discuss your ideas and suggestions and incorporate them into our budgeting decisions. Transparency and collaboration will be at the heart of how I manage our finances.
If elected as Treasurer, I will ensure our budget is clear, sensible, and focused on delivering the best possible experience for our members.
