Biology: Treasurer

Hello everyone! I’m Carolina, a first-year biology student who believes BioSoc should be both fun and financially solid. I love attending events, but I also care about knowing where the money goes.

BioSoc has huge potential, but sometimes funding, transparency, and engagement don’t fully align. I want every pound we spend to clearly benefit students.

You deserve to know where your money goes, and I want to make it clear by breaking down budgets, giving regular financial updates, and maintaining open communication with the committee.

I aim to create space for more fun, creative, and engaging events while helping fund inter-year mixers. The goal is smarter spending and stronger funding.

I started out managing money with my childhood piggy bank, and now I’m helping my dad sort out our taxes. I hope you’ll see that same sense of responsibility in how I manage BioSoc’s finances.

I’m organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers, but I’m also approachable and open to your ideas. As treasurer, I’ll work closely with the committee to ensure every event is properly planned, realistically budgeted, and genuinely worth your time.

BioSoc should feel inclusive, exciting, and transparent. If elected, I’ll make sure our finances reflect that.

Let’s make BioSoc more connected, more creative, and financially stronger together.
