Serena Yerusalmi

Hi everyone! I’m Serena, a first year Economics, Finance and Data Science student. Dance has always been my way of escaping reality. It’s the place where I feel free and able to leave my worries behind. ICDC quickly became the space where I could step away from coursework, deadlines, and stress. I believe this is something many of us share, our passion for dance brings us together and creates a strong sense of belonging within this society.

I would love to contribute more to this community as Junior Treasurer. In this role, I will ensure that our finances are managed carefully so that every member benefits. With the cost of living in London being so high, my main goal would be to maximise subsidies for the society, whether it’s competition costs, merchandise, or class fees, keeping participation as affordable as possible. I will also seek additional funding through sponsorships and partnerships with brands that we enjoy and relate to.

With my past experience in organisation and budgeting, as well as my commitment to this society, I am confident that I can help make ICDC a place where we create the best memories together while keeping the experience accessible and financially stress-free for everyone.
