Ethan Hsieh

Hello everyone, I’m Ethan Hsieh, a second-year BSc Economics, Finance and Data Science student, currently serving as CSSA Treasurer and General Secretary of the Chinese Society.

During my term, we successfully made membership free, lowering barriers and making our community more accessible to all. Through managing budgets and overseeing operations, I have developed a strong understanding of financial responsibility and long-term planning.

If elected, I will continue to prioritise transparency, clear budgeting, and financial stability. I aim to provide straightforward financial summaries and ensure sustainable planning across the academic year, so that every event is impactful and every resource is used responsibly.

A strong community needs strong stewardship. I am ready to continue serving with accountability and commitment.
