Hello ICBC members,

For those of you who don’t know me, I am going into my final year of Chemistry and am current Women’s Captain of ICBC. Since the start of the year, I’ve worked really hard to ensure things run smoothly for the whole squad, such as organising all of the BUCS Head accommodation and assisting a lot with the novice squad. This was my first time being on the committee, but taking on these responsibilities has felt very natural to me, and I’ve really valued the opportunity to contribute to the running of ICBC. While I’ve loved every minute of Women’s Captain this year, I am ready to take on more.

I’m extremely reliable and consistent, and someone you can put your trust in. I will always look out for people and value the opinions of all squad members. I’ve developed a strong working relationship with the coaches and know how to communicate effectively between them and the squad.

Lastly, I’d like to say ICBC is such an exciting place to be right now. It’s made me unbelievably proud to boat two full matched women’s eights on multiple occasions this year (a first in my time at Imperial), and it genuinely brings me such joy seeing all squads succeed this past weekend at BUCS. We’ve made monumental progress this year, but this is just the beginning. I am committed to building on that success next year, and there is nothing that could get in the way of that.
