Max Lee

Hi everyone, I’m Max.

I’ve now spent a year with Funkology in Crew, and it has become one of the most important parts of my university life. I want to continue to dedicate my efforts into upholding Funkology’s high standards moving forward as President.

I aim to introduce positive changes to the society drawing from the experiences of those in the teams, those who attend our weekly classes, those interested in joining, as well as my own personal experiences.

I have 3 primary axioms I would like to focus on:

Advertising – Extending reach and refining our first impression so that we can reach the maximum number of dancers in our community and communicate what Funkology represents

Expectations – Maximising clarity within the teams by ensuring that our goals, our standards, and our requirements are clearly defined, as well as bolstering our audition and screening process so that expectations are understood early

Social – Fostering stronger relations within and between the competition teams to promote cohesion and responsibility by introducing more social events

As the society continues to evolve, I will work to preserve our strengths and continuing to provide quality weekly classes while proactively adapting to upcoming challenges.
