Hey! I’m Jay, a 2nd year JMC, and here’s why you should vote me as the next DoCSoc President.
Experience: Having repped in DoC for 2 years, organised big events, and worked together on high-stakes projects, you can trust that I have what it takes to deliver.
Enthusiasm: I have big plans for what DoCSoc can do (see below)! And the energy to execute them.
Integrity: I'll always act for DoCSoc’s members to bring you an awesome year.
What I’ll do:
- IC Hack: I will try to grow IC Hack to take it to the max, with more hackers and ambition than ever (750 people…)! More interesting tracks and industry links, with openness of opportunity at the forefront.
- AI: it’s changing the industry rapidly; I’ll make sure DoCSoc and its members are ready.
- With even more relevant events and sponsors, we can be so ready for these exciting times.
- But it won't be the only focus: there’ll always be something for every interest!
- Socials/Events: I’ll empower and work with the amazing events officers to keep DoCSoc events goated and make sure everyone has a good time!
- Resources: I’ll bring the secret revision folder back under DoCSoc maintenance, organising and streamlining materials.
What I don’t want to do is make DoCSoc a dynasty – I'll make it better every way I can. Especially by looping in you, our phenomenal members, to collect feedback to action!
