Hi guys I’m Isha and I am running for Geology Society President!

Currently I am in first year and as you would expect I love Earth Sciences. My goal is to make this society as inclusive and welcoming as possible for all members of ESE to live laugh love rocks. I will focus on expanding our outreach to all geologists, geophysicists and EPScientists alike to learn and grow together in Geology Society by providing academic and career-based opportunities alongside what I hope to be a lot of good social events.

The passion found in our home in the RSM is the USP of Geology Society and I strive to ensure that this shines through, while simultaneously creating a strong connection between us all. Furthermore, I want to make sure that you all get back what you put into the society. You all deserve to be heard, and I aim to guarantee events that suit everyone alongside honoring our current events and hopefully bettering them. Who doesn’t want an extra excuse to go to spoons?

If given this role, I will make sure I am very devoted to the role and put everything I have into geology. I want to make the society a place where everyone feels they can join in, learn something new, and enjoy being part of a community that loves ESE as much as they do.
