Giacomo Savi

My name is Giacomo Savi, and I grew uo in Turin but my mother is Piemontese and my father is from Emilia-Romania. If elected president there are three main task I will try my best to accomplish. The first of which is holding regular events, including aperitivi at union and italian bars, and also hosted events where everyone brings a dish and we have a potluck style event. Hopefully having these events will help build a sence of community within the society, and encourage more people to take part in and sugggest new events.

The second task is collaborative events with other cultural societies, these events could resemble wednesday socials and would help crearte a broader sence of community across campus. Events could be themed to whatever society we are sharing the social with and would be a great chance to expierience the other cultures that are present in the Imperial student body. The third task, involves connecting the Imperial Italian society to broader Italian events that happen across London. There are various food festivals that happen (the biggest in November) that we could organize trips to connecting the society (and its members) to Londons many Italian parts.
