Rinta Seto

Hi! My name is Rinta Seto. I'm a first-year Economics, Finance and Data Science student, and I'm running for Japanese Society President!

Japanese Society has been one of the most rewarding parts of my university experience this year, with fascinating people and events. That's what motivated me to run. I want to ensure that next year's freshers, and all members, have the same experience, or an even better one.

I've been involved as subcommittee this year, helping organise events behind the scenes, so I'm ready to put that into practice!

If elected, in addition to our traditional pub socials, I plan to add more variety with events like football watch parties and boardgame / karaoke nights - they're what bring us together and give people even more ways to connect.
