Hi everyone!! I'm Sahra, a third-year medic and I'm running for vice-cap :D

The beginner's course is already well-structured thanks to the hard work of previous Vice-caps (shoutout to you guys <33). So instead of scrapping the system that already works, I want to build on it!

I'll keep things short 'n' sweet~ if elected I'd like to:

• Invite alumni as guest instructors
  • to give beginners a different view + help strengthen connections!
  • can support with offline sessions
• Introduce certificates for instructors
  • to help with future CVs and acknowledge the skills developed
• Integrate scoring more
  • a lot of beginners reported enjoying the offline scoring session + novices would prefer more practice for comps
• Improve planning of the Mini-comp
  • make sure everyone has time to participate
  • working with the new records officer and the rest of committee
• Introduce a buddy system post-beginners course
  • to try help support beginners transitioning into regular shooting + increase retention!!
