Hey guys!

I'm Brandon and I'm running to be the deputy broadsheet editor for the RCSU!

The broadsheet is a staple of our constituent union, and ensuring it is maintained and well-run is paramount. It has the opportunity to serve as a great way for students in the department to find out about current events, tell interesting stories and maybe even learn some new stuff!

Over the last year, it has faced problems with delays due to poorly managed launch events and withheld articles, which have damaged the perceived integrity of the institution. I want to help turn this around! In this role, I will:

• Do my level best to make sure the team is working well together.
• Branch out to find potential writers, ensuring the quality of the content is kept high.
• Focus on keeping deadlines met, even if it means staying up until 3am with the team every night. (He says, writing the manifesto at 3am.)

I love writing myself, so scrutinising articles to ensure the best possible reading experience for our readers will certainly not be an issue at all! I also have experience writing for my highschool newsletter about school play performances, which I'm sure will come in handy!
