Hi! I’m Rhea! As an avid reader of the broadsheet editions, I think the paper has some incredible educational and scientific articles with a fabulous design team; I would love to be a part of the team! Here are some qualifications that make me a good fit for this role:
English and writing proficiency:
I have received distinction for my writing, creative and academic, from G7 - G12 in high school. I have joined a few creative writing events, and love to write poetry and edit articles.
Experience:
I've written scripts for scientific podcasts as part of the Neurodiversity club in Hong Kong, and have helped edit scientific papers for science competitions. I have edited many of my own research projects in the past two years. I've also taken many creative writing projects, notably working as President for the Charity Crochet club where I worked closely with charities to edit reports and present information concisely and in an engaging manner.
A love for science:
I love to read the science and arts section in newspapers like the Financial Times and National Geographic, and love to learn through accessible science platforms such as Ted-Ed. I want to showcase my passion for science in a manner that is accessible to a large variety of audiences.
