Hi! I’m Rhea and I would love to be a part of the RCSU community as an alumni officer! I believe that Imperial's strong alumni network is an invaluable resource, and I’m eager to help manage and strengthen it. Every year, graduates from imperial join an impressively-growing network, but as freshers, graduation feels far away—something most of you can likely relate to. Yet, both current students and alumni have one thing in common: the experience of enduring a challenging, intense and very stressful programme. Starting at Imperial can raise a lot questions about the future: there is so much uncertainty about career prospects and whether we will make it through. A few weeks ago, when things felt very hopeless, (I'm being only slightly dramatic), a careers panel of alumni helped me to figure things out! Learning from those who came before us is incredibly valuable; I want more students to realise the power of networking and alumni events. My goal is to make the network more accessible, inclusive, and supportive, helping everyone understand and navigate their futures—just as that panel inspired me to explore new fields like patent law and technology patenting. If elected, I will do my best to increase the visibility and engagement of the alumni network within RCSU!
