Jenee Jayakumar

Hello! I'm Jeneeliya Jayakumar, and I'm a first year Materials student. I love the events and opportunities that the RSMU provides for the undergraduates and postgraduates at Imperial, and I would like to give back to the community by being an Outreach Officer! As a student, I didn't know what Materials was until I was very late in my school career, so something I would like to do is educate children about what Material Science is all about, in an informative yet engaging way. My experience with outreach involves helping out Year 11 students with their history and maths GCSEs. What I would like to do as Outreach officer is engage with more schools and ensure that the connections that have already been made continue to flourish in the next academic year.
