Hey guys! I’m Manu, an MBE first year, and I’m humbly putting myself forward to be your next Spanner Bearer.

Coming into Imperial, you quickly realize that being part of City & Guilds isn’t just about surviving the degree - it’s about the history, the community, the Spanner. The Spanner is the heart of C&G. It’s truly my spirit animal: building, fixing, and (occasionally) causing a bit of a stir.

My Priorities:

• Its about drive, its about power: ensuring the Spanner stays safely in our hands. Im beginning my gym arc so trust no mascot-thieves are getting past me.
• I want the spanner out and about at more departmental socials so everyone - even des eng - feels connected to the Union.
• Being a fresher (I haven’t started balding yet) I know how intimidating Imperial can be. I want to use the role to get more people involved in the CGCU from day one.

The Spanner is heavy, but our pride is heavier. I’m ready to carry both alongside my bolt bearer Sayooj so please vote for us both.
