Hello everyone! I’m Allen, and I am running for a role as the Publicity Officer for RCSU.
Having previously designed a range of posters for magazines and advertisements, I have profound experience in creating all sorts of content for the promotion of events, opportunities, and merchandise!
As a publicity officer, I will ensure events are carefully designed, broadly reported, and widely attended. Here are things I value:
- Concise: “Less is more.” I will keep content brief and precise, but still present all necessary information.
- Visually appealing: “Design is thinking made visual.” By structuring designs according to content and theme, the delivery of information will be more effective.
- Branding: “Consistency is the signature of professionalism.” By maintaining a consistent choice of banners, style and colour, I will empower the branding effect of RCSU content, making it easier to remember, growing its popularity.
Above all, I am a strong advocate of teamwork. Upon election, I will be collaborating with the Events Officer to deliver fantastic events, the Webmaster to publish up-to-date content on our website and social media, and the representatives to address any general issues effectively.
