Gaby Oh

Hi! I’m Gaby, a first-year biology student.

I love planning events, from birthday parties for friends to huge campus-wide fairs. I was the events manager in high school and thoroughly enjoyed that too.

In my first two terms so far, I’ve seen that there is a huge array of social events here, and I got to know lots of great people. I’ve also felt that it can get a bit overwhelming sometimes. I want RCSU activities to feel approachable and to always offer something students can look forward to.

Here are some things I would like to do in particular:

🗓️ Planning events throughout the year, especially during the dreary days of Winter, so we can make friends even after the beginning of term.

☝️🤓Regularly hosting chill social events like movie nights or science-themed quiz shows.

🏛️Field trips, like Hyde Park picnics or museum lates.

💬Anything you’d like! I propose to make an events form through which any RCS student can reach out and give suggestions on what we should do next.

The Faculty of Natural Sciences is filled with some of the most fun and passionate people I’ve met. I would much love to get involved and have the opportunity to meet so many more.
