Hello everyone! My name is Begüm, I am a second-year Biochemist, and I had the honour to serve you as your Vice President of Operations this year! And I’m running again to continue my role :)
In my second term, I want to keep up what is going great about the RCSU and improve upon the feedback and hiccups we had this year. My motivation remains the same from last year. VPOs oversee a wide range of things such as our website, social media, our magazine Broadsheet and Science Challenge. Alongside this, VPO interacts with the alumni body. This is something I want to increase next year, hopefully creating an alumni-student mentoring scheme. Another great task of the VPO is the procurement of sponsorship, which I think would be very beneficial in financing our physical copies of Broadsheet next year.
