Over the past year, being involved in RAG has given me a much greater appreciation for everything the Students’ Union does behind the scenes. From supporting societies to helping organise events and maintain student spaces, the SU plays a big role in shaping the experience we all have at university. Because of that, I want to get more involved and contribute to something that has already had such a positive impact on my time here
If elected as Sites and Services Officer, I want to focus on helping maintain and improve the spaces and services that students rely on every day. Whether it’s study areas, society spaces, or general facilities around campus, these are things that directly affect how we experience university life
I think one of the most important parts of this role is making sure students feel heard. I want to help ensure that feedback about facilities and services is properly communicated and that even small issues students face can be addressed. Sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest difference to students’ dayto day experiences
Through my involvement in RAG and other parts of student life, I’ve seen how much effort goes into creating opportunities and building a strong community. I would love the chance to help support that work and play my part in improving the student experience for everyone
I’ve had a great experience at Imperial so far, and I want to help make sure others can have that same positive experience too
