Hello again,

I'm Daniel, your Wellbeing Rep.

This week, I'm also running for Academic Rep as, again, I don't want our cohort to go unrepresented during what will likely be the most challenging year of our degrees.

In the Staff-Student Committee meeting last Friday, voices from our cohort were noticeably absent. I know that there is dissatisfaction with how certain modules are being run, but this Department believes that "no news is good news". Without someone in the room to pass on that feedback to the teaching staff, nothing will be done to fix them.

Now that I've seen first-hand how willing the Department is to respond to students' voices, I want to ensure that our cohort has the same opportunity to improve our own experience at Imperial.

You can already bring any wellbeing issues to my attention, so that I can firstly help you access relevant support, and then work with the Department to mitigate the causes in the future. With this role, I will additionally be able to raise academic concerns relating to modules, coursework and final year projects.
