Hi! I’m Jiahuizi(Jasmine) Peng, a second‑year Maths student who simply loves helping people and building a warm, supportive community. I’m running to be your Year Two Academic Rep because I’m approachable, organised, and genuinely enjoy listening and getting things done. Friends know me as the person who checks in, follows up, and turns “someone should…” into “done.”
I’ll keep communication friendly and open: a quick weekly check‑in post, an anonymous suggestion form, and casual drop‑ins so you can share thoughts anytime. I’ll respond promptly, bring your ideas and concerns to the right people, and report back clearly on outcomes—no jargon, just honest updates. I care deeply about inclusion and wellbeing: making sure every voice—home or international, quiet or loud—feels heard, respected, and supported. I will coordinate peer study meet‑ups before busy weeks, signpost helpful resources, and celebrate our wins as a cohort.
About me: I play violin (Grade 10), love team sports (ex‑girls’ football core member), and train artistic gymnastics (National Level 2)—so I value teamwork, discipline, and positive energy. I’ve hosted science outreach events (Pint of Science) and volunteered as a youth mentor, experiences that taught me how to listen carefully, communicate clearly, and create welcoming spaces. Academically, I’m curious about applied maths and modelling, and I’m happy to help organise study groups, revision sessions, and friendly skills swaps tied to what we’re learning—always practical and supportive, never overly technical.
If you want a rep who is present, kind, and action‑oriented, I’d be honoured to serve.
