Xiaoxue Zhou

Hello, I'm Pouya (Xiaoxue Zhou), and I'm currently studying MEng Civil and Environmental Engineering. I'm proud to stand for the Clubs & Societies Chair of the Civil Engineering Society.

I genuinely enjoy facilitating connections and providing effective support. To my understanding, the role of Clubs & Societies Chair requires being approachable, organised and responsive, ensuring clear communication and robust support for all affiliated clubs and societies.

If I am lucky to get elected, my focus will be on providing thorough guidance on budgeting and administrative tasks and to make these processes straightforward and manageable for club leaders. I’m dedicated to representing your needs at both the Civil Engineering Society and Imperial College Union level, ensuring your concerns shape our collective direction.

I’m not running just for the title - I care deeply about supporting active societies and clubs that enhance our student experiences. With your support, I will help build an organised, supportive, and engaging environment for all club members.
