Hi, I’m Jonathan, and I’m running to be your Social and Networking Secretary in the Society of Research and Academia. Building a strong community and facilitating connections are essential for growth, and I’m passionate about creating engaging social and networking opportunities.

Having served as the president of this society this year, I have witnessed how society has grown closer through various socials and networking events and have developed some ideas for future events. I understand the importance of fostering a welcoming and collaborative environment and am hence committed to creating events that are both fun and professionally beneficial.

As Social and Networking Secretary, I will aim to:

Organize Regular Social Events: Plan diverse social gatherings to foster connections between members and create a sense of community.
Facilitate Networking Opportunities: Organize networking events with researchers, academics, and professionals in various fields.
Promote Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Encourage interaction and collaboration between members from different research backgrounds.
Enhance Member Engagement: Utilize social media and other platforms to promote events and encourage participation.
Gather Feedback and Improve: Regularly seek feedback from members to ensure events meet their needs and expectations.
