Women in Business: Internal/Alumni Manager

Hi everyone!

I’m Yuxin, a second-year chemistry student and I'm excited to be running for Internal/Alumni Relations Manager for Women in Business!

Having personally benefited from ICWB’s panel events and office visits, I know how valuable alumni connections can be in navigating career decisions, finding mentors, and accessing opportunities. As Internal/Alumni Relations Manager, I aim to strengthen and expand these networks, ensuring more members can benefit from meaningful connections in business.

If elected, I will:

Enhance the ICWB Mentorship Scheme by actively networking with alumni in finance (IBD, S&T, asset management, etc.) and consulting, ensuring more members can participate in the program

In particular, prioritize recent graduates who have firsthand experience with spring and summer applications, facilitating 1:1 guidance sessions with them

Expand our alumni network beyond traditional finance roles to include professionals in insurance, investment management (wealth/asset management), quant and fintech, offering more diverse insights through panel events and fireside chats
Leverage partnerships with societies like WSET, Investment Society, and Finsoc to deepen alumni engagement and create new networking opportunities

Beyond ICWB, I actively connect with professionals, seniors, and alumni via LinkedIn, attend networking events, and seek out office visits and panel discussions. I want to bring this same proactive approach to ICWB—expanding our alumni network and providing more opportunities for everyone.
